Here at T.C. Eggington’s, we are all about serving up the best food in town. As such, our poor drink menu is often overshadowed by our stacks of Girdle Cakes, mouthwatering salads, and delightful baked goods. Our freshly made mimosas, Bellini’s, and Irish Coffees rarely get the love they so rightfully deserve. So without further ado, here are 5 of our favorite drinks from the T.C. Eggington’s menu and exactly how we would pair them with their culinary counterparts.
Bonterra Chardonnay is bright, clean, and refreshing on the palate. It is the perfect complement to our Grilled Shrimp ‘n Citrus Salad. This salad combines delicately grilled Gulf shrimp, avocado, bacon, goat cheese, grapefruit, baby greens, and fresh herbs to create a perfectly balanced melody of flavors.
This cabernet offers rich black fruit flavors with hints of toffee and chocolate from the toasty oak. It is delicious when paired with the T.C. Sirloin Stack. This sandwich features thinly sliced sirloin, cheddar cheese, red onion, blue cheese spread, and a spring mix, all served atop a freshly baked Brioche bun.
Our Irish coffee is the perfect complement to one of our sweeter items such as our Strawberry Acres Girdle Cakes. These scrumptious cakes are piled high and topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
This drink is dangerously refreshing and pairs perfectly with our Focaccia Turkey Pepper Melt. Pan-roasted turkey is tastefully topped with sautéed zucchini, red peppers, and diced Bermuda onion, then draped with provolone and placed upon our freshly baked focaccia bread. Buono!
Move over mimosas (but don’t go too far) the Bellini is here and is the perfect choice to pair with your Sunday brunch. The sweetness of this drink pairs perfectly with the saltiness of Piglet’s Passion, our famous omelet containing diced ham, pork sausage, bacon, green peppers, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, zucchini, and assorted cheeses.
